Planning Gateway One - Approach to different types of planning applications

This section explains how different types of planning application are dealt with by HSE as the statutory consultee on fire safety matters for developments that include a relevant building or within the curtilage of a relevant building. It covers the scope of the assessment and the level of information needed in the planning application.

Section 3 sets out the information in planning applications that the planning gateway one team uses.  In many cases, a prescribed form, known as “fire statement form”, will be required.  The information below makes clear where this is not the case.
