    What is the service?

    What is the Building Control Approvers Directory?

    In order to receive building control applications from us, registered building control approvers need to sign up with Planning Portal to be included in our online directory. The directory is prominently sited in both the application service and guidance sections of the website, allowing users to select who they wish to apply to.

    Users can submit applications for building regulations approval on the Planning Portal and the facility also allows applicants to choose to submit applications to their local authority, or a registered building control approver of their choice operating in their area.

    As well as completing the application online, the applicant can also attach supporting documents and request and pay their fee.

      The Planning Portal is delivered by PortalPlanQuest Limited which is a joint venture between TerraQuest Solutions Limited and the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG). All content © 2024 Planning Portal.
