How do I change the site location or local authority on my application?

If the site location and local authority is incorrect

If the site location needs to be changed, this may also change the assigned local planning authority (LPA).

To change the site location, you should copy the application:

  1. Select 'Copy' from the 'Application actions' drop down next to the application name
  2. When the pop-up box appears, untick 'Site details', and continue
  3. Name the copied application, and continue
  4. Specify the new location, and continue

The location will now be updated and a new LPA assigned if necessary.

The site location is correct, but the assigned LPA is not.

Where multiple tiers of authority (e.g. district, county, national park, or development corporation) operate in the same area, applications are assigned to the relevant tier depending on the options selected when the application was created.

Other changes
