Part F - Ventilation

As of 15 June 2022, the guidance will change due to The Building Regulations etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2021¹ and the following two approved documents will be in force:

• Approved Document F: Volume 1 applies to dwellings²
• Approved Document F: Volume 2 applies to buildings other than dwellings³

This will replace the following Approved Document:

• Approved Document F - Ventilation (2010 edition incorporating 2010 and 2013 amendments)⁴

2010 amendments

Approved Document F - Ventilation (2010 Edition incorporating further 2010 amendments)⁶ (PDF 2.32 MB) 

This edition of Approved Document F - Ventilation superseded the original 2010 edition by incorporating the changes made as a result of the Building Regulations 2010 and Building (Approved Inspectors etc) Regulations 2010.
